Meet the Founder
Founded by Belqees B.
Born and raised in the Bay Area with strong roots in Afghanistan, I learned from a young age that resilience, hard work, and perseverance will take you far. Those lessons have followed me through every chapter of my life—from earning my undergraduate degree in Biology at Cal State East Bay to finding my place in entrepreneurship.
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to build something of my own. My first step into business was an Afghan clothing company that I ran for nearly five years. That experience taught me valuable lessons about serving customers, managing a business, solving problems, and most importantly, taking responsibility for the people who trust you.
Today, I’ve chosen to dedicate that same energy to BAM Cleaning Services.
Beyond business, I’ve always been passionate about showing up for the people and communities around me. I genuinely enjoy finding solutions, being dependable, and making things easier for others—and that mindset has become a big part of how I approach BAM.
Building BAM gives me the opportunity to combine my entrepreneurial experience with something I deeply value: serving others, solving problems, and doing work I can stand behind.
Why I Started BAM
I started BAM Cleaning Services with a vision to build a company rooted in reliability, integrity, and ihsan—the pursuit of excellence in all that we do.
My background in corporate operations and people-focused work taught me the importance of organization, communication, accountability, and following through. I brought those same principles into BAM with the goal of creating a cleaning company that facility managers can genuinely rely on and my team would thrive working in.
My faith also shapes the way I approach business. To me, doing business with ihsan means caring about the details, keeping your word, being fair in your agreements, and treating every client, employee, and facility with utmost respect. When someone trusts us with their facility and pays us for a service, I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to make sure expectations are clear, our work is thorough, and when an issue arises, we take ownership, assess the situation, and work toward a fair solution.
BAM is more than a cleaning company to me. It is a business I am intentionally building around strong values, meaningful relationships, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
My hope is to leave every interaction, client relationship, employee experience, and business partnership at least 1% better than I found it.
